Dr. Schultz is a licensed psychologist specializing in forensic and clinical psychology. She completed her post-doctoral residency under the supervision of Dr. Amy James, where she conducted evaluations in the areas of parental capacity, sentencing for adults and juveniles, juvenile transfer, child custody evaluations, mental status at the time of the offense, and competency/capacity. Dr. Schultz earned her doctorate degree at the University of Denver, which culminated in a year-long internship in a forensic setting. Additionally, Dr. Schultz has experience completing risk evaluations for NGRI acquittees seeking community re-entry from the state hospital system. Upon successful completion of her residency, due to her exceptional skills and abilities, Dr. Schultz was offered and accepted a full-time position at the office and looks forward to continuing to provide high-quality forensic services within North Carolina.
